When is Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam coming out for PC?
Bad Company 2 was a bad azz game. It's way better than MW2 %26amp; Black Ops. I heard it they are coming out with Bad Company 2 Vietnam and I saw a little bit of it and it looks pretty cool. But I can't find anywhere when it comes out. All I found was that it comes out "late in the winter of this year." If you are used to playing fast paced games like Call of Duty, Bad Company 2 can be a shock as it is quite a bit slower, and more realistic. Remember these pointers, and you should do a little better;
* Fire in bursts unless using a LMG (medic gun- accuracy actually increases with sustained fire)
* Spot (Q on the PC, Select button on PS3). A lot. You can get loads of points just by spotting for your team.
* Heal, revive, replenish ammo and repair vehicles. This requires no skill, and can rake in points.
* You might find it useful to play as an engineer to begin with. Their primary weapon (SMG) isn't particularly powerful, but the RPG is (and does not require much skill to use). I have only played the single player for MW2,and it was fun.I did not buy MW2 because everything I have learned about the multiplayer for pc turned me off from buying the game,so yeah,I pirated it just to play the single player.But BBC2 I pre-ordered after watching a couple of videos on Youtube,and learning it would have all the good stuff a multiplayer game on the pc should have(mostly dedicated server support).I have played a few hours of the multiplayer,which is better than cod4,because of things like destructible environments,and the audio in both online and single player is by far the best audio I've heard in a game so far.I am going through the single player right now,and although it is linear,it has been very fun so far,and even though MW2 single player was fun,bbc2's single player is a lot more inventive,such as a level where you have to snipe guards when there is a thunder clap,there's a tank mission where you drive a tank,there's a level where you have to run from fire to fire in the arctic cold to keep from dying from hypothermia,plus you find a crap load of really awesome modern weapons.So obviously I have to say that bbc2 beats the modern warfare games by miles,and that's saying a lot,because the modern warfare games are still pretty good,but bbc2 does some new and interesting things.

i think bad company 2 is better. why? because alot of people play modern warfare 2 and after a while (please dont take offence) it gets boring and repetitive but ever shooter is repetetive. but bad company 2 has destructable environments, and a great storyline. dont get me wrong, so does mw2. but battlefield has squads, objectives, taking bases, and alot more. i would go with bc2 but mw2 is just as great.

Maybe it needs to update. Perhaps it was a very uncommon game type, such as squad rush on hardcore and there weren't any games playing. Try restarting your console.

If you're into tactical shooters in which you have to think things through, then I would suggest Rainbow Six Vegas 2. If you like blowing stuff up for the hell of it then get Battlefield: Bad Company. I have played both games and both are equally fun. Battlefield has a more humorous tone and online and offline mode are awesome. I play Rainbow Six Vegas 2 more offline though and is real challenging in realistic mode, and there are unlockables and customization options that would make you play the game at least twice.

I assume you are using the PC version of Bad Company 2? if so, then yes you can, though there have been some reports that it has been acting up in the past, but that tends to be with all games in one form or another.
i am unsure if the PC version works like the console version but if it does, be sure to buy the Ultimate edition or buy the regular one and download "Onslaught" mode. Onslaught allows you and 3 other friends to battle it out in land sea and air against waves of AI opponents.

I was just wondering how you ranked up in Battlefield 2, I play Modern Warfare 2 and I felt like a change to Battlefield. The ranking system in BFBC2 is really straightforward an very similar to MW2 or any other CoD games.
You have 4 kits: Assault,Engineer,Medic and Recon.
To rank up you need to gain XP to a specific level for you to rank up. Some kits help you gain XP quicker, and I found that whilst playing Medic and Assault, I seemed to rank up faster.
At the end of every match it tells you how much XP you have earned, and how much is needed to rank up to the your next rank. I would say roughly the time to get to 6th or 7th prestige in in mw2. there are NO prestige levels in BC2 but reaching level 50 in this game would be quite an achievement. My friend who works at Official Playstation Magazine Australia gave me one of his preview codes for black ops... You can drive a hind in the campaign... and black ops will have zombies, most people hated World at War because they hate World War games, and one of the only reasons people bought it was because of the zombies. Even though I hate Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and any other company associated with Call of Duty games, Treyarch isnt dumb. The zombie maps from CoD5 have been confirmed in Black ops with the Hardened and Prestige Editions... and im 99.99999% sure that, unless they really are THAT stupid, Treyarch is going to make new zombie levels...

As far as I'm aware Black Ops will indeed bring back zombies. that shouldn't be a purchase defining decision though. but to each their own i suppose. it depends on how well you enjoyed COD:MW and COD:MW2. personally I loved the first modern warfare, and completely hated the online (xbox) component in modern warfare 2, if you felt the same as i did about the last installment in the series you may want to lean towards BC2. i picked up BC 2 and absolutely loved everything about the campaign and online, stellar visuals, great sound and production value. though i will agree with the previous post because i haven't played in a while finding a game could be difficult, and the online is much more difficult compared to the play style of a COD game (opinion).
Umm.....I would just get Black Ops. My reasoning is because Call Of duty is a better known franchise and you will probably have better online play experience. Just getting a game or not getting a game because of "lack of zombies" is your reasoning, then I don't know what to tell you. There's a lot more to a game then just its content. I think Call Of Duty Black Ops will have better graphics, better online play, better controls and an overall better experience.
I say black ops. Bc2 is a great game but with Black Ops and Medal of Honor coming out soon the Bc2 online community is going to go down a lot. And give Medal of Honor a look the same people that made the Bc2 are making the Medal of Honor online.
Zombies? Get Dead Rising 2 or Left4Dead...
Anyway, I'm only talking PC here - I find plenty of nicely filled servers for BB2 around the clock so there are enough people still playing. It looks great and I'd recommend getting it and then the Vietnam restart/expansion/whatever :D
