How to get a chopper in Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

Ive been playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online for 2 days now. But ive never been in a helicopter, or even seen one spawn. I mostly do Rush, Squad Rush, and Team Deathmatch.



Do i need to be in a specific mode/map for a helicopter? Do i have to do anything to get it? How often does it spawn?



And one more thing while im asking: whats your favorite kit?How to get a chopper in Battlefield: Bad Company 2?
Maybe the "best" map to get a chopper is Heavy Metal - they spawn rather quickly and each team has access to both helicopters (transport and attack). I don't know if the spawn-time can be adjusted server-side but it seems something between 30 seconds and five minutes, likely depending on map.



There won't be helicopters on Team Deathmatch and Squad Rush as far as I know. Some Rush maps have choppers but it depends on the stage, sometimes the spawn is unlocked at a later stage, sometimes it is locked.



My favorite kit: Engineer with RPG-7, Tracer Pistol and UZI. With Magnum Ammo and Additional Explosives and usually the Alternate Vehicle Weapon.
You can't get a chopper in just any map it has to be specific maps like ahh i haven't played in such a long time but there is this map where there is a desert and there is a chopper that spawns every now and then and it might also depend on what type of game you are playing. i like being a sniper its very fun to explode vehicles and stuff like that and also i like being an engineer because if you're teammates are in a tank that is on fire then you get to repair it and get points! hope this helps.How to get a chopper in Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

ok so i cant quite remember the game modes but you should try being in the big map objective ones where you capture and hold flags. wait at spawn and they will appear on your mini map when they are spawned but if they arent there halfway through the game then they probably arent on the map at all so try a different one
Maps with choppers-Heavy Metal, Isla Innocents, Port Valdez and Atamaca Desert. They spawn randomly. Favorite kit-depends on situation. I usually use sniper the most. Favorite gun for sniper is GOL.
