So... I don't understand, I'm sick of CoD and I heard battlefield was amazing, and i looked up youtube vids, but they're two things - Battlefield 2 and bad company 2...
Are they seperate games? Graphics? (i noticed battlefields 2 graphics are bad compared to bad company) systems? what?

Yes, they are two different games. Bad Company 2 is newer so of course it has better graphics.
Well, both are 'tactical' shooter, both have their choice of vehicles (from jeeps to helicopters) and both have different classes to play.
Main difference is that Bad Company 2 has destructible environment - shell a house for long enough with you tank and it will collapse, fire a rocket at a wall and it is gone (along with anyone hiding behind it).What's the difference between Battlefield 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2?
both the same systems, but like cod battlefront made a sub-series within a series like cods modern warfare sub-series, battlefield is made a sub-series called Battlefield: Bad Company. so same series and all but Bad Company 2 the newest of the Battlefield games.
oh and just to let you know Battlefield 3 is coming out soon so if you get addicted to the others be prepared to pre order :P.What's the difference between Battlefield 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2?
bf2 is old bad company 2 is newer and amazing on all systems too
