I heard the original Battlefield Bad Company comes as a free download with Bad Company 2. Is this true?

My buddy told me that you can download the original Bad Company if you buy a brand new copy of BFBC2. Is this true? I fancy playing both for the story (and the second for the multiplayer, of course), so I want to know if I ought to buy both or not!

Nah, sadly it's not true.
But if you buy a copy of the ultimate edition of BC2, you get a few extras. You get Battlefield 1943, the tommy gun for multiplayer plus all the map packs.

Also, you get a mode called Onslaught which is basically players teaming up against the NPCs

no bfbc does not come with bfbc2 as i bought last sunday. only came with a vip code as usual
